Our Fabrics

Good clothes start as good cloth.

Every Vasoo Studio piece is cut from natural-fibre fabric we've handled, washed and worn ourselves. Here's what we cut from — and where it comes from.

Sourcing

Where our cloth comes from.

We come from the textile trade — two decades around mills, dye houses and production floors — so we source the way insiders do: by visiting, handling and wearing before we ever commit to a metre.

Our flax linen is woven from European-grown flax, spun and finished at family-run mills we work with directly. Cottons are long-staple and combed, knitted and woven at audited facilities that share their compliance reports with us — not just their brochures. Dyeing is done with low-impact reactive dyes, and every fabric is pre-washed so the garment you receive is the garment it stays.

If we wouldn't wear a fabric for a full season ourselves, we don't cut it for you.

Because everything is either small-batch or made to order, we buy fabric in careful quantities and hold cloth, not finished stock. What little surplus fabric remains becomes patch pockets, trims and repair kits — not landfill.
